I always had a passion for animals, I always knew I would pursue a career with animals. Well, I've done it all, from grooming to cleaning up poop at the vet's office. However, training is the most rewarding experience I have encountered yet. It's truly a remarkable feeling to be able to help people connect with their animals, and actually put some fun into animal companionship. I am also very passionate about pet-overpopulation and the plight of homeless dogs. Having extensive experience working with rescue animals, I know that the right training and behavior change program helps these animals find and keep their forever homes. I also strive to keep current companion animals in their current homes.
OUR DOGS Swanson: My best friend in the whole world, and my dedicated service animal. This German Shepard/ Rottweiler mix is the best boy you could ever ask for. From going on hiking adventures, to cuddling up to watch a movie, I couldn't ask for a better companion. Swanson came to me while I was working as a groomer, dropped off at the door on a cold winter morning. It was love at first sight. We've been inseparable ever since.
Kakashi: The reason I am the trainer that I am. Belgian Malinois have always been my favorite breed of dog, having my own has been a constant learning experience, he has opened my eyes to so many new things, and has really pushed me to be better every day.
~IN MEMORY~ Elrond: This boy is extremely special to me, and always will be. He came to me through terrible circumstances, severely abused, with cigarette burns down his back and rips in his fur he came to me with endless trust in his eyes. Elrond has changed my outlook on most simple things in life, and I'm always grateful for his unconditional love and trust. I am focused on getting people the help they need to have their pets thrive, be happy, and ultimately just lead a comfortable, happy lifein their forever homes.
